This chair forms an intersection between the straightforward and the ambiguous. On the one hand, it has a sharp, crisp form and an unusual degree of functional specificity: it was designed specifically with a corner in mind. It carries with it a sense of place.  

On the other hand – how does one use it?
How does a body fit into it? There is no one answer.
The design takes cues from axonometric drawings by Peter Eisenman and Michaelangelo’s Pietà.
